I noticed when I sort by new, some of the posts are in the future. Is that just an issue with .world (my home instance) or something broader?

From what I understand, this is an issue with using different timestamp formats between implementations. In this case, it's with kbin and Lemmy.

That makes sense, thanks

Same on lemm.ee. It seems to only be the Kbin instances that show up as in the future.

Gotcha, thank you

I think those are all kbin instances, so it might be an issue with kbin? And lemmy trusting kbin's timestamp?

Oh, I didn't notice that, thanks.
