He died how he lived, defending third world supply chains for the profit of the western oligarchs that consider poories like him subhuman livestock.

implying that your son doesn't already do that in the military without you knowing it

[–] [email protected] 37 points 2 years ago (1 children)

If they're in the Air Force, they likely do.

Source: in the Air Force.

Same for Marine Corps, except remove the word "likely."

Well, patriotism can be necessary to deal with the constant fear to loose your child.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

Nah, that's just fucked up

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I don't understand this statement. Can you rephrase and/or edit? ^^

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I'm struggling with the question what exactly is hard to understand. Soldier's parents live in the constant fear that their child might one day just be killed in some conflict a d in order to cope, they use their patriotism

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Gotcha, I understand now. Thanks

[–] [email protected] 29 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Too many people have taken your comment seriously. I felt the sarcasm was decently clear but I guess not.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

"My son has never killed a family in a foreign country because someone told them to."

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 years ago

Your son, my son, arson.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 2 years ago

Wow what a privilege for you to only have the option of not being a man or perish in battle. There is no middle point

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 years ago

Yeah that soldier's boots aren't bloused!

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 years ago

Your son. My son.

Hi son. Bison.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago
[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago
