A week ago or so I posted a tan colored cutie that popped up in my garden. Wasn't quite sure of what it was. I think now it's pretty clear - and also has 5 friends all within few feet of each other.

Yup. Super fortunate. I use this to help with my anxiety.

That's what I hear. I'm glad to hear microdosing works for you.

I just wish it would agree with my stomach more. Its benefits out weigh that negative.

You boil them first, right?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I do. But it's the boiled water that I take not the actual mushroom meat. I have tried it raw as well. It all upsets my stomach.

Dude ur not supposed to do that...or if u do boil them twice and only drink it the 2nd time. First time is no bueno iirc.

All of the muscimol would be gone by a second boiling. Doing it twice makes sense if you're wanting to eat the mushroom without the beneficial chemicals.

Yeah this makes more sense.

What's your general location? Assuming you're in the US, we have several muscarioids but A. muscaria s.s. doesn't really occur here outside of the extreme PNW (barring the rare hitchhiker on conifer transplants)

Near Seattle and I see them everywhere these days.

Someone noted on a video I watched recently that there may be a 5-7 year cycle on these. You'll see them now and then not at all for around that many years.

Excellently satisfying spots. Kusama-san would surely approve.

We had two trees die of "sunstroke" a year ago, so it's nice to see underground life continues!

Scrolling through my feed, I revealed the top of the picture first. Before I reached to the bottom of the picture, I got an intense craving for a burger on a toasted sesame seed bun.
