the only thing that can kill Spotify is Spotify. They have a good platform, the best integration with other services/devices, and as long as they don't enshitify there's not much more another service can offer

Yup. I loved Google music before it was destroyed, Spotify is in the top 2 options by far. Unless they self destruct, going to be hard to kill.

Yeah, unless the hypothetical "Spotify killer" can import and rebuild all the playlists I already have saved over ten years of having used Spotify, then it's not a Spotify killer

There are some ways to do that with applemusic/spotify/ytm.

Real problem is missing songs. I like spotify but there are some missing ones that I resort to listen on Newpipe.
