The first graders painting is art. However, just because it's art doesn't mean it's good art.

Art is subjective so there is no good or bad art.

First consensus is a thing. Secondly not every subjective opinion is of equal value. One opinion may be grounded in historical context, technical understanding, philosophical ideas, and other contextual viewpoints, whereas another might be as simple "I like that color". Those are not of equivalent value.

It's a thinly-veiled justification for allowing AI-generated art on a platform whose user base clearly does not want it.
