I personally prefer winter because in summer the temperature is unbearable, I'm sweaty all the time, there are mosquitoes and ticks everywhere. while in winter I can sleep under many blankets and be comfy. But the cons of winter are that it gets dark quickly and ice can be slippery.

My favorite season is fall. But since you limited the question to summer and winter, I say winter. It's easier to warm up then to cool down.

Winter. By far. No bugs to fly in my face and scare me. No sweat to make me mad. No yard work. And everything seems much quieter. Oh, I can't wait.

Edit: I forgot! The jackets and blankets hug me! I like to snuggle in but in the summer it's impossible. Although I do like to garden...

Winter. I like my spaces very cold.

In Winter, Summer. In Summer, Winter.

Between these two, I choose Winter. It's easier to warm-up than it is to cool-down.

I prefer summer and fortunately it doesn't get very hot here (18°C avg in the hottest month). During winter I really suffer from the lack of natural light.

I literally hate summer heat. I live in Texas and have a farm and a band and therefore can't really avoid being out in the heat. The things I have to do to deal with sweating and heat sickness are kind of extreme. I have cooling towels, sweat wicking clothes and scarves, Ice buckets, coolers and fans, and I still feel like I'm dying the second I step out of my truck on the farm. The band plays almost exclusively outdoors in the summer and I hate that too. I'm soaking wet by the time we set up the stage, I don't really get enough time to reset my body temperature before we have to play, I sometimes start feeling sick on stage so I can't drink a beer or two to get in the mood, I'm exhausted when the show is over, everyone wants to crowd you and shake your hand and hug you when you get off stage and I am usually dry heaving into a towel by that point... yeah summer sucks so much ass.

As someone that lives in Florida, I prefer those few days in Sept/Oct when the weather gets much colder (like 60s-70s) than normal summer temps. It gives me an odd calm feeling of change that I like. I open all the windows and get excited for the change in weather. Unfortunately, those don't last much and the weather goes right back to being super summer. I think last year, it was still hot af in December.

However, the thing I like about summer here is the strong thunderstorms. We get weather alerts like 5/7 days per week of severe thunderstorms. I freaking LOVE thunderstorms. They're so cozy. Me and my dog cuddle during them, while the cat looks at us and slow blinks as if here were telling us he's on watch and everything is okay. ❤️

I assume the buildings in Florida are designed to stay cool. Here in Europe they need to be designed with summer and winter in mind.

yep. the seasons here are better described by rainy season and dry season. In the summer, we get torrential downpour thunderstorms nearly every afternoon. In the winter, it may rain a little between 2-4 times per month, followed by a ~3 days of cold weather. I imagine that your Winters are just cold everyday, right?

They are cold every day, but some days less colder than others.

Winter >>> Summer.
