I don't trust videos that have comments disabled, they're usually shills or BS.

Depends on the content

If it's a product or service, then I'll find other sources before buying

If it's an ~~academic source~~ lecture recording or news story, then I prefer comments to be disabled. Shows me that the channel cares enough about it

Dude this is only like 10 years too late. Youtubers deserve comorehensive moderation and curstion tools. Youtube comments should be at the forefront of video discussion.
