Now that I have Sync again, I feel 0 desire to get ever go back to reddit again
The only thing lemmy was missing was a really solid client
Only time I Reddit now is when the lemmy.world servers are down ๐

Miles ahead of any Lemmy app so far.
Yeah I'm really liking it but have only tested a short time now.
Yup... bought the remove ads feature as soon as it showed up to support the dev. I imagine losing the revenue stream from reddit was pretty impactful.

God I missed Peeking ! No other app was doing it at the moment.
I missed automatic AMP removal from links. Man, Sync is the best
What is peeking on Sync ?I'm a Boost former user so I haven't used Sync.
Pressing and holding on a picture in the feed and it expanding. Very useful if you use compact view or don't have full height cards enabled.

Yes, definitely awesome. I'm getting a lot of Error 403, though. I'm sure it will stabilize. Really missed Sync.
Lemmy.world is being DDoSed, for the time being you can try a different instance

I cancelled the auto install and just did it manually and worked fine.

Weird issue I have is that links in text are like a way bigger size then the rest of the text for some reason.

It's just one of those tiny quality of life features. I've been using sync for years and I'm constantly discovering new features haha.

Long press any of the settings and it'll put it on your clipboard to paste!
Shortcut for anyone who wants to disable it:
[Settings shortcut: Link handling > Show larger links](sync-settings://7-large_link_sources)
Also, you can long press on any of the settings to copy its link!
I'm actually having an issue where hidden posts keep unhiding themselves, but it isn't obvious what's triggering the bug quite yet.
Unfortunately hide isn't native to Lemmy yet, you need to mark as read first so it doesn't come back. Also might require you to uncheck show read in your Lemmy settings
I just want to say that I absolutely love being able to see the thumbnail picture enlarged by long clicking it again. I used Jerboa up until now, but it's absolutely great to have all those familiar gestures back.
