That moment when a film is better than a book...
My favorite realization apon a second viewing is that Marla is also a figment of his imagination.
Where did you get that idea? She might be the most real thing in the story.
Marla is not in Jack's head. Seen the film far too many times back when I was an edgy teenager and also read the book.
The film is far better than thw book, dont bother reading it.
