I’m running BG3 through Proton (linux OS) so troubleshooting whether glitches are game engine issues or proton issues is tough.

Apart from some graphical artefact pop-ins which I just ignore, one common glitch im getting is the game not recognising to scroll the camera when you mouse to the edge of the screen. This happens when in windowed or fullscreen mode.

A work around seems to be using the arrow keys first, after which the game correctly recognises mouse scrolling at screen edge. You have to do this every time between interactions though, which can get annoying.

Trying to see if this is a proton issue or known game bug. Anyone else experiencing this?

Did you check to see if the cursor is locked to the window in the game settings?

Not sure what you mean sorry, there is a setting to turn the scroll on edge on and off, and that’s switched on. Is there something else?

Under gameplay>camera options there is an option to lock mouse to window.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately toggling this option doesn't seem to make a difference, but worth a try, thanks!

Are you using flatpak steam? I had an issue where the game didn't even make a window and switched to flatpak to resolve it.

I play on a Ubuntu/steam PC with proton too, but I use a controller. I tried early access and didn't like moving the camera with KB/Mouse.

I play the release with a PS5 and Xbox controller because the camera just follows your character or you just use the stick to move the camera in an area to have a look around.

The only other problem I have seen is that Vulkan will have slight glitches in cinematics on the right side. No bad but noticable.
