The Democrats told Biden that he needed to show more of the fire that was on display in a closed-door meeting with governors when Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte handed him a letter demanding more action on the southern border. Biden flashed a smile, according to two of the governors standing there.

So...

When Biden is talking to a Republican psycho who got famous for body slamming a journalist who questioned him...

About how Biden needs to be more like Republicans on border security...

That is the go to example of Biden fired up and ready to get things done?

Biden would be a great candidate for the Republican party, but I'm constantly left wondering why he is the furthest left America can hope to get for the next four years.

He hardly represents any of the party platform in words, definitely not by actions.

And apparently behind closed doors his words match his actions.

And apparently behind closed doors his words match his actions.

Its been clear from his governance and campaigning over the last 3 months, he'd rather be running as the Republican nominee. He's made, frankly, the dumbest angling and positioning on issues in perhaps the last 50 years of modern politics.

Those continuing to promote Biden as the the only choice for nominee are asking to hand you 4 more years of Trump. Biden can't win at this point without effectively taking a 180 degree stance to every decision he's made since August of last year, and even then, its not clear he stands a chance.

Continuing to advocate for Biden as the nominee with the data we have is equivalent advocating for a Trump presidency at this point, and you can't pretend that someone didn't tell you so, white liberals.

If you are continuing to push for Biden as the nominee at this point, and we get Trump, its on you.

Please identify the candidate with the fundraising, name ID, and campaign staff to win a presidential election that's 8 months away.

THAT. CANDIDATE. DOES. NOT. EXIST. Biden is the nominee. Trump is the nominee. It's not a matter of willpower or politics at this point. Time is a limiting factor. If you don't want Trump elected support Biden. If you can't bring yourself to support the obvious lesser evil then get out of the way and stop proposing shit that is mechanically impossible to achieve in order to make yourself feel better.

He's not gonna win dude. He's a Zionist from way back.

His fundraising, his name ID, his campaign staff: they factor in to him currently losing.

If you want to win, we'll need to switch it up.

Name. Give us a name. You've got all the data. Tell us the viable alternative. Or are you just cheerleading the Democrats losing? Pretty sure we know which it is.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Yep, pretty obvious which. Even when they try to pretend to be liberal or progressive they can't help but throw in their coded talking points.

Michelle Obama

I don't want Biden. Nobody I know wants Biden. All my friends are voting uncommitted now but will hold their noses and vote for whoever is most likely to beat Trump in the general. It's a pathetic situation.

Guess what situation you'll be in come 2028?

NH kept going progressive in primaries, now they don't have primary delegates.

DNC says until republicans change NH state law, they're not going to get delegates again.

No one seemed to give a shit. Dont take future primaries for granted.

Depending on your states voting history, this could be your last.

Guess what situation you'll be in come 2028?

A certain group of bears have been telling y'all this for months on here. But apparently they are all shills and bots here to undermine democracy or something. Sigh.

Obviously you personally seem to get it. But the general stance of Lemmy has been incredibly smooth brained.

[–] CbtB 1 points 1 year ago

What are you suggesting? That we vote Biden in the primary?

The state of the union address is just a bunch of meaningless words. Who gives a fuck?
