Basically some crazy fisherman caught a huge fucking whale, brought it home and ate with some local artist. The man was so impressed by the meal that while hammered off peasant wine he decided to paint this.

Yes they were probably hammered, I'm not exaggerating. Also without much anatomical knowledge of whales.
