"It's Square Enix! They know I hate orange filters on everyhing!"

"So you think the developers have some kind of plot against you?"

"Yes, they did it on purpose!"

There's some mods for that now, if you ever plan to revisit it.

Does kind of make it feel even more stupid in the first place though. Game looks fine and has sane color choices without the filter.

Is that the OG deus ex, or the remake? I played the remake, but didn't enjoy it as much as cyberpunk. I've heard pretty good things about the OG, but I've kinda also been worried about how clunky it looks.

Human Revolution is a bit like Fallout 3 - decent game in a vaccuum, but terrible as a prequel.

Cyberpunk actually reminded me of Deus Ex more than any other game in some ways, though it is also a very different beast.

The graphics and gameplay are definitely dated, but at $7, it's still worth giving it a try. I'm happy to replay it every few years, but I also played it shortly after it came out, so the nostalgia factor probably biases my view of it.

I like to think of it more like an interactive comic book than a modern game. Even after a dozen playthroughs over 2+ decades, I still usually find one a couple things each time that I don't remember. Maybe that's just because I'm old and my memory is fading, but it's still fun.

I personally play the free Revision mod on steam but yes it is the OG game from 2000 but it still holds up to this day.
