If in the game she's the hidden boss that requires a max level team to beat does that mean what she did is canon? I mean, Yumelia had to have gotten strong somehow in game too.

This is great news. I was ready to give up on a second season happening and read the manga.
Oh nice. I know nothing of the source and had no idea how hyped for this I should be.
I look forward to meeting a brand new and colorful cast of characters at this kingdom, learning their goals and dreams and then having them die in 0.5 seconds when they try to fight any of our protagonists.
Your list of anime tells me are into adventure anime or with heavy action.
First thing I thought of was Katanagatari, where our heroes go on a journey to collect 12 legendary swords.
Something with heavy action: Black Lagoon- businessman gets abandoned on a pirate island and joins them
something more adult: Vinland Saga- viking epic following a young boy on a quest for revenge

Chise just snapping that creature's neck was unexpectedly brutal. And it was interesting to see what weapons everyone else created, Philomela with the tiny knife, fitting for an assassin, Zoe with a trusty spear, great for beginners, and then there's Lucy with a stick, really Lucy? couldn't even make a proper weapon?
How are they making Yumellia's cold calculating self so adorable and funny? This show is better than I expected.
