I belive you but how strange. Think pads are like the go to budget Linux laptop option. They've worked flawlessly for me for various distros over various models and years.

I'd be happy to help if you'd like I can play 90% or more of my library on Linux. Basically, if its in steam it's a cake walk. I recommend something like Mint cinammon or pop_os all you need is proton really. I can't run games with certain anti cheat like tarkov cause the anti cheat devs don't support Linux

Agreed with Linux gaming AMD all the way. For laptops if you don't wanna go dedicated GPU they make some wonderful budget friendly performance APUs (CPU plus GPU like Intel integrated graphics but more capable for light gaming :) IMO of course

Old think pads can be had for dirt cheap on eBay, you've essentially got a little server you can hide anywhere, you don't have the keep the lid open (disable sleep on lid close, you can hide it wherever you want now) , ANDmost importantly it has it's own little integrated UPS :)
