Maybe they should have put the hamburger and fries in the chest.

Not anymore. They changed the prices and discounts by quite a bit.

I run them side by side too. I also have plexpass from ahes ago.

But I actually like the jellyfin ui better. It's simple, to the point and most importantly fast. Sit. Down click jellyfin click show, go.

Plex just feels laggy and sloppy in comparison.

After I sent that I was worried that would be the answer. I am so sorry your kids can't just go to a park.

All of that gripe and you still go there instead of a public park?

That makes more sense. Thank you for the context.

Lol what? Linux servers are still dominant in market share.

I was really hesitant to switch to Firefox. It took a long time for me to finally leave the Mozilla suite and accept that Firefox was the one going forward.

There it is again. That term "gatekeeping". I see it here so damn often, but nobody ever can back up the claim.

You are saying: people are actively trying to make things difficult to use in order to keep people out? Can you give me an example? Has anyone in the fediverse rejected YOUR proposal to improve anything? Pull requests made and denied?

Ever consider that it is not gatekeeping, but the lack of millions of dollars on advertising and venture capital that makes people think anything else is easy to use? Instagram and Facebook are MUCH harder to join and MUCH harder to curate for anything useful, and keep some sanity on your privacy, but nobody complains about them.

Thank you for posting a readable link.

It won't be. It can't be. It will have to monetize, then it will have to restrict, and you end up with the same problems Reddit has.

I just recently found out Reddit has achievements. I don't use their official apps or new desktop so I never saw them. When I see what Reddit looks like to most people it is so bizarre. Like completely different experience.

Thank goodness Lemmy looks and feels the way it should.

They said the question was "Grateful Dead". We know that is not true!

They broke out Harder They Come, and I was listening to it on stream, and it was so nice to hear. Oteil sang it wonderfully.

3 set, Acoustic IKO opener. I think this is complete, and it is a fun show.

Maybe I will keep posting the new to Archive and etree to get some momentum here on Lemmy!
