You're not pushing back against anti trans people, you're pushing back against people trying to change and understand. You are doing more harm than good to the trans community, and if you understand that and continue to be that way, then what does that say about you?

Nope. I very specifically said I'm not arguing about that. I'm giving an example of something polarizing that someone may want to have their mind changed on.

Maybe ease up on the hostility. There are people out there that were raised a certain way that want to change or perhaps have questions due to ignorance on the topic. By being combative, you're doing more harm than good for something you clearly care about.

And that's definitely an opinion you should be able to post and discuss in a forum like changemyview.

To play devil's advocate, trans in sports is a hot topic that I believe merits debate. I'm not going to do that, but it's an example of something that's not just black and white, and that I assume can't be discussed at all at reddit given this post by OP.

It's kind of a gray area for me, because I did split a family plan with a friend. I'll swallow my shame for the next 10 months, but that's the end of the line.

Some years ago, they changed the algorithm. It used to be hundreds and low thousands votes, then they changed and the vote counts went up thousands. Somehow they weighted votes but I don't remember any specifics. I'm sure there are still some posts out there with conversations.

Someone smarter and more ambitious than me needs to make a browser extension that does it. Finding where items are sourced from on the fly might be tough, but it would be cool if it existed.

That's exactly the thing. Trump is a liar, but he's not lying about what he's doing, he's lying about the outcomes. When called out for shit, he lies then too, but he has told everyone exactly what he has wanted to do. A vote for Trump was a vote for a racist, bigoted, rapist, wanna be dictator. His literal words were that he wants to be a dictator. There is no trickery in what he said, and the people that voted for him wanted exactly that. Now they're upset it's hurting them, and that's about the only silver lining I'm find through all of this. If it wasn't affecting me and mine, I'd have died from schadenfreude a month ago.

It was my fellow citizens that voted for this cunt. They are to blame.
