I love watching these guys hurl themselves through the air. There's been some hybridisation with rainbow lorikeets, which are invasive to Tasmania and increasing in number.
(I had to screenshot my photo to get it to upload in portrait orientation, as the original kept reverting to landscape. Is there any way to prevent this?)
Birds are already amazing but the youngins are just the sweetest. Such cute photos!
