I wish plant based diets could be made easier for people (than they already are). I also wish people were more open to the concept of fortified foods or supplements. in c/vegan@lemmy.world

I'm a little confused by what you mean. A healthy vegan diet is incredibly simple and easily available. Even in a rural town like mine with a tiny grocery store. Beans, rice, Chickpeas, lentils, some fruit and veggies of your choosing.

Its not so indiscriminate. Its just that theyre edgy libertarians and radical centrists. Its less about blanket making fun of everyone including themselves and that theyre smugly declaring "both sides bad" on most things.

In Maine, the GOP was being led by a CONVICTED child molester who was claiming this was happening and had the Republicans rallying behind him. He was invited to speak AT A SCHOOL and had to be forcibly removed after shouting obscenities at kids

Yeah. I absolutely love LotR. But read the niebelungen and certain poems from the Poetic Edda, not to mention Beowulf, and you see how heavy he was influenced by the stuff. Which is fine of course, everyone is influenced by things before them
