First, I have been online for almost 30 years. I’ve led an open source project for 14 years. I speak regularly at conferences around the world, and socialize with members of the Mozilla, JavaScript, and other web developer communities. I challenge anyone to cite an incident where I displayed hatred, or ever treated someone less than respectfully because of group affinity or individual identity.

So I hid my hatred from everyone for 30 years successfully. Now that everyone finds out that I donated to a cause to strip them of rights everyone wants to say I'm hateful? Give me one example where I displayed hatred....how about the time you donated to strip people of their rights? That might be a big one for me.

I manage the business lending department at a credit union ($400MM in assets) and lately we've just had a ton of investors looking for single family homes. For the most part, they're all just couples looking for properties and they only have a few of them but we also have some realtors buying up a bunch of them. Looking for a new job solely because of that. Feel like I'm contributing to the lack of affordable housing. I liked the job more when we were doing loans for farmers/truckers/commercial real estate/or people that needed equipment. I hate dealing with single family homes.

Inkjet might be cheaper to buy the device but you'll pay out the ass for ink. Toner just lasts so much longer. I haven't bought toner since 2019.

I've seen reviews saying that a firmware update stopped 3rd party ink/toner from working. Both myself and my mom have Brother printers that we love and have used for years. It's disappointing and they're great printers but I don't want to pay a premium on toner/ink just because. But yeah, as @cerberus_cat said, refillable ink is good too if you need an ink jet printer but I don't know why anyone would want ink over laser.

Brother is no longer allowing 3rd party ink and toner too so do your research there as well.

Our oldest (tuned 18 in Dec) wanted to register to vote right away and was voting in midterm elections this spring. Our youngest is 17 and he's already looking forward to being able to vote in the presidential election next year. It seems like them and their friends are absolutely wanting to get out and vote and they're all very much liberal and we're in a county in PA that was Trump +16 in 2020.
