I've been using it since last year. It's always been much better than the mostly unusable ones Google has given me for years now. It's the best $10 I spend. It saves me time.

I've used Syncthing to sync stuff between my phone, tablet and computer.

No I don't think that it will. It doesn't need to. I'd rather it stay less mainstream and be like reddit was long ago.

I like FairEmail on Android and don't see myself switching to something else anytime soon. For the desktop I use Thunderbird
