Where did I say that pathogen didn't exist. Secondly, you have no idea how fungal pathogens work. They're never exactly the same which is why DNA Mycologists exist. Third, since they already do exist in the USA, why smuggle in China versions? Sit down.

I'm stating facts friend. That's literally the pathogen that was brought over. And the main area for growing our grain crops is the Midwest. Don't be so overtly ignorant.

The pathogen is a fungus that causes blight on wheat and barley crops. No idea what the plan was, but bringing that to the Midwest could have been bad if released.
