You do realise that every single social platform favours your way of thinking? You are pretending like you aren't fully in charge.

All you need to do is shout "my feelings!" and you get results. Like toddlers shouting for cookies.

I was one of those people, I've been changed. I know a lot of other people too. Maybe try to look outside of an echo chamber sometime.

One of the ones he bought is sold on Apple's website, so I don't think so.

If there's any rich screenwriters on here who got sad because I criticised paying $20 for a ticket to watch their sub-par work, I do apologise.

Film critics in the 70s and 80s were pretty brutal and can roundly deconstruct incompetency better than I ever could.

I don't doubt some of the execs made dreadful decisions (look at history: Alien 3, Suicide Squad are notable examples).

But writers should know the basics about dialogue.

Let AI generate the monthly hero releases. Let talented writers make thoughtful, provocative and beautiful film. It'll only make those experiences more special.

After the amount of capeshit that's been coming out of Hollywood in the past 10 years, this can only be a benefit.

Ohh, so it seems like bark is edible but wood isn't. Definitely chimes with other answers above.

I'm trying to resolve an argument.

EDIT: Yes, you can. But you can't digest it. The only edible parts of a tree are some specific types of tree bark. Thanks, everyone!

"Look it up on Netflix" is the phrase everybody's heard, how do you deal with that?

I've done a mixture of different approaches, either by getting the film somewhere else (legally, of course) or just saying I don't use X service.
