"A loss of communication with ground control occurred as the engines shut down, leading to the rocket's self-destruction sequence.

The incident highlights significant operational failures, as engine shutdowns should not cause communication loss, indicating a lack of redundancy in systems."

For the communication redundancy part: This is just my interpretation of what I'm reading and it could be 100% wrong.

The communications need a redundant power supply/ connection not associated with the engine. Because they didn't have the communication connection and the engines were on fire the self destruct was initiated. Where if they had communications maybe they could have done something else? Turn off fuel, changed location of impact, changed location of self destruct to not be where it was.

I could be wrong, Iam in fact not a rocket scientist

Be an ass on the international scene. Show you are untrustworthy and do everything you can to not pay a bill. Just be generally unreliable as a trade partner.

Get turned down when you ask internationally for help.

My company does 16 weeks of fully paid paternity. I'm taking 9 weeks at the beginning and breaking up the rest over the year to help with this or that.

I am a little concerned as to what my job will look like when I get back especially with the political climate. But at the end of the day that isn't what is most inorganic to me. My family is.

Do we know if these increased metal tariffs go live now or in April?

According to this article Wednesday is the day

Is it always the same discord server? I got the message the other day but ignored it.

I 100% agree with you. But I'll also admit that I email people ALL the time and I have no idea what their email alias is. I just hit reply.

I absolutely agree with you that even with a rotation musk's email alias will get leaked. I'm just agreeing with you that it was security through obscurification and it would have worked if one of the emails got leaked. A thousand people would have tried variations of elon.musk@ i am willing to bet none of them would have tried erm71@

And let's face it that man has an auto forward on his email lmao

No it does not. Neither does having a password as they can be leaked or cracked or who knows what. Turning off tcmp echo on your router won't stop all bad actors but it will stop some. All security practices are just small steps to make it slightly harder for bad actors.

I'm sure that is exactly what it means. The point was to hide it a little bit, it's not the standard first.last of everyone else but to make it still uniquely identifiable as musk. It's not a completely unheard of practice to hide potential high spam targets. The goal isn't to completely hide, just make it slightly harder to find

I 100% agree with the sentiment. But if this is the same missile strike I read about earlier no Americans died in this attack, they managed to get to safety in time. Just want people to be aware of that fact.

Do I think this will eventually lead to American deaths and trump having more American blood on his hands yes.

"Allows you to control the downtime"

*unless your company infrastructure was designed by a 2 year old, you don't have infrastructure admins that believe is still the wild wild west, and your Security team knows how to manage it's av and doesn't block the file servers

The best way I've found to explain crypto currency as someone who dabbled in mining and trading.

It's like any other foreign currency. I don't know what backs the British pound, I don't know what people do with it, but I do know at any given day the pound vs the dollar fluctuates in price. Some people somewhere prefer the pound.

All that is true about most crypto currencies
