I'm so glad I am not the only one. In a normal political environment, I would not agree with a lot of AOC's, Bernie's, or anyone else in their region of the political spectrum's ideology. In this political climate, they are the only ones fighting for democracy and I am aligned in almost everything they are doing. Insane how much fascism compresses the opposition.

I've always been pro-abortion, but I've definitely become more open-minded as I got older, even though I'm still in my 20s. Maybe it's because I developed empathy. Maybe it's because I started listening and reading diverse perspectives on Reddit and now Lemmy that I don't see in my real life bubble.

I find it interesting how many people I've seen on Reddit (just started using Lemmy) say psych. It's not my favorite, but clearly there's a very positive sentiment.

Many private schools actually do give full rides to students whose families make under a certain threshold. Still insane tuition, but not as bad as one might think.

I said in another comment yesterday that Amazon is the most affordable option in my high COL area and provides the most variety. Especially groceries when I don't have time to go grocery shopping. Not to mention, I get 5% cash back on my Amazon credit card. With inflation how it is, I'm not giving it up, and I do not feel bad for it.

Pretty sure there's a boycott going on at Target right now, and Walmart is probably the worst of the 3.

What tariffs are Canada imposing on the U.S. that is not retaliatory?
