Also if you meet a pro they will be happy to walk you through the GUI (if available) or CLI depending on what you feel comfortable with.

I know you went on a whole thing in the other thread but. There is a reason why Windows has automatic updates and sometimes forces a restart on you. It's because the average user never update anything. Ever.

Still part of the EU at the time, with many expecting Brexit to either fizzle out or take decades to complete what did you expect? Anti-French no or very little, I don't remember seeing any. German some because Brits think Germany runs the EU. During Brexit it was mostly anti-EU as a whole.

You should have picked Poland, Romania, or Albania. Those are countries that British racists don't like, less so Poland these days.

What did the UK puposely make worse for the EU exactly?

Either way being mad at the whole UK population just seems a little racist and, Brexit passed! Seems like you specifically should be happy about that.

I don't see how the UK shooting itself in the foot then tripping down the stairs affects the EU.

Are we really praising Zuckerberg now? We are all just supposed to forget Cambridge Analytica, Covid denial, pushing right wing narratives ect?

Well when I was first choosing a lemmy instance to call home I looked into lemmygrad. The sign up message basically said Marxist Lennists and friends only don't like those don't join. Which if you pardon the pun is a red flag.

Then I read some posts and basically anything not Marxist Lenninst or Socialism with Chineese characeristics was basically called evil and shunned. Every post I read was just so hostile to any thought even slightly different to theirs. Being called a CIA asset in a posted article was an interesting one I must say.

It's wild they actually aired that. That argument was the end of their relationship. Paul Jr. sued him over this, won and made his own company, Junior also made a book about his relationship with his father after as well.

They reconciled 5 or so years ago, and worked on a bike together. Which is nice.

Ah "just google it" also excellent for making a hostile work environment too.

I know this is probably sarcasm but. It would have been nice. Cameron was more pro remain than Corbyn, so the remain campaigning sucked. The news never talked about the merits of the EU. Basically nobody pro remain got any screentime! Let us not forget if it's on a bus it must be true!

The only people who said brexit was a bad idea to me were friends and family. If you wanted to know what the effects were likely to be you had to work for it, which Brits kind of suck at doing.

Oh wow that's really cool. What happens when the server inevitably goes down?

I am never going to use that for so many reasons.
