Yep. It's more a tech archeology video.

They were. They were literally sent to the branch office in the state. The state didn't bother to fill the position. So it just sat there in the inbox. As well as the ~~state~~ county voted against putting in systems to alert people.
A mind like a bowling ball. Blunt, smooth, and significantly dense for it's relatively small size.
Fair assumption given that it's Dorsey.
It's licensed under the "unlicense" which is public domain adjacent. But yes Briar exists and I'm not sure what this really does any better that's any more usable. It's at least interesting to see that he may have finally understood what decentralized actually means with this though. And competition is always a good thing even if it's over things that are mostly useless to the public.
It's not a threat to someone's health or life. Simply pointing out that he's a fool to think that similar groups wouldn't turn on him if they wanted to. All gung ho to try and join them. I think the comment is safe.
Are, are the liberals in the room there with you? Roll your forehead across the keyboard if so. Seriously though. It's laughable looking at the levels of cognitive dissonance shared between people making arguments like yours and the maga crowd.
It's definitely limiting. LoRa wan meshed network is more useful. But most people don't have a LoRa capable device. I could see something like this at a protest or public event at least. If there were enough nodes in the area the network could span hundreds to thousands of feet with the right conditions. But that's a big ask ATM.
He used different terms in different places. And to be frank, I'm not sure I'd heard about unlicense before. But upon closer look it does seem to be a the goal. Despite not being valid or applicable in a few jurisdictions.
I don't trust Jack. But this does seem marginally interesting. Actually decentralized, no servers supposedly. We'll have to see. Again I sure as hell I'm not going to trust dorsey. And he's got it under some cringey edgelord "unlicense" license which basically appears to be MIT just with a different name. The actual concept seems intriguing. But definitely nothing to get excited about currently.
Trust me the US will start taking from wealthy Americans as well soon enough. Once authoritarian groups burn enough Bridges and goodwill. They always have to scapegoat another group.
It's pretty hilarious how so many people think that the boot isn't the problem. The flavor of it is all that matters.
