Damn, that's insanely expensive. I had an old railroad tie retaining wall I had to replace about 10 years ago. Quoted 8-10k to replace it with blocks. I did it myself for about $1,500 but it really sucked, and mine was just holding up part of the lawn. Good luck!

I hate that shit. When someone wears shoes in bed it's all I can focus on and it ruins the scene. As a fat American slob, I'd never wear shoes to bed. The only time I wear shoes inside is if I have to run inside quickly for something on the 1st floor or in the basement.

Yeah. I guess that's how they got my info.

After 9/11 I had people telling me to look less Muslim so I wouldn't be targeted by crazy people. At the time, being brown and having a beard made you Muslim, which in turn made you a terrorist.

I went to college in my 30s and got texts and calls from recruiters for months. I never knowingly gave my contact info to them, so I'm assuming they got it from the school.

Good point. I guess we'll see where this goes.

How is a system supposed to know if self reported information is accurate or not? The stock market fluctuates based on bad info all the time.

Yeah, but there are a ton of boomers and gen x that never got a chance to buy a house. Stack on being a minority, or a woman, and your chances of owning a home back in the good old days were probably worse than now since banks and certain neighborhoods would tell you to get fucked. Things may have been easier for many in different generations, but not for everyone. I'm not discounting that gen z has things worse in a lot of ways, especially work and financial wise. I just don't think fighting amongst generations is going to help. It's class warfare.

Edit: By class warfare I mean basically everyone vs the ultra powerful/wealthy.

I think this generational divide is bullshit. Most people have always known that the system is rigged and keeping your head down and working hard doesn't get most people anywhere.

That's not true. Most organisms spend a big portion of their energy on moving, eating, or just existing. Humans are one of the few organisms capable of creating a weapons.

Your kids are going to have shitty lives if everyone around them has given up on life because the world sucks. Life on easy mode is being born rich.
