Yeah, a quite silly idea but not too far off (100Wh from powerbank vs around 340Wh of the bike - not negligible!) :)
No, today most powerbanks with high wattage use EPR Power Delivery. The one I linked can charge up to 140W and should be able to charge the bike. Voltage is variable, in this case around 28V at 5A.
Did you find a boot that satisfied you? I was looking at the German Bär manufacturer and they have an interesting boot choice, reminded me of this post so I chime in even if your post is a bit old: https://www.baer-shoes.com/men-boots/
I live in Europe and use the minimalist-but-has-everything Sigma ROX 11.1 computer. I don’t know in which market is sold but I like it a lot. It doesn’t have a map but it shows the GPS path you should follow. Configuration is through an app but it’s then pretty open as of what you do with the gathered data.
Same here, a couple of days ago I was scrambling to order a sun filter and get it in time for the eclipse, and then I checked the weather forecast… no need to hurry, next eclipse in September
Thanks for your thoughts on that! I have a Skilhunt H04 RC and use it extensively around the house for handiwork, but it over the limit for a jogging headlamp for example. I would expect the D4W to be in the same range.
Didn't really got the chance to use it for what I meant to (I'll check soon if the headband of the Manker E03H II fits, if not I have to find one that does). I skipped the bigger Hank worklights because I feared they would be too big and bulky, but this feels perfect. It's light but solid. I'll also evaluate the beam shape and in case swap in other TIR (I got the other 2 options to be on the safe side).
Wouldn’t be surprised if Google’s algorithm is behind Apple Photos recognition, looking at how good Apple is proving to be with AI and similar systems 😁
iOS built-in subject recognition says: Black Throated Sparrow. It looks like a possible match, right?
Sounds good! Enjoy your runs :)
Didn’t check that, assumed The Verge covers mainly North America.
