Well, an additional problem with this Lenovo ThinkPad is that its "A" key is coming loose if not pressed on the rightmost side. I've also dropped it 3x from over a foot's distance (knocked off a table, etc.), which damaged its Bluetooth receiver. So I'm wondering if it's even still worth maintaining...
It's definitely got 2×256 GB SSDs in it, though they're also all from 2016-17, hence my predicament of sorts...

You have a really messed-up teacher and you didn't deserve that treatment from him. I even feel like he should be reported to the department or something. What he did to you is not cool (even if you're no saint, either)!
I still contend that you're misusing the phrase "cause and effect" and that it's not "broken," because there is a clear cause: greed. Selfishness causes people to try to take ownership of goods or services to which they didn't contribute—and the effect is compensation not reaching its correct owners.
That cause-&-effect is very consistent to me. Nothing's broken there. The concept itself is fine; the problem is the abusers and manipulators using it in a negative way. So your real enemy is greed and intellectual theft.

Sure, but you can't really enforce that demand since you're not a king of the land or something. You'd need to get into politics and stop lobbyists or something.

Counterpoint: why do you need to "win?" Why not fight with fairness, and do what you can to ensure that the producers around you receive what they're due, even if you may end up receiving less as a result?
You already explained it here so it's fine. With that said, though, I would say in general that giving examples (the more, the better) is equivalent to defending, as any relatable example gives any given claim more merit.
Be sure to sell the cat for at least a bit more than snake food so that it doesn't become snake food. Never just give animals away, unfortunately because of the risk of horrible people.

I think these were before Kung Fury, but Kung Fu Hustle is one of my favorite action comedies, and Akira is a total trip as well. Another mind@#$% that's really not in the comedic genre at all (although maybe not as random as you're seeking) is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I've gotta rewatch all of these...
