Yeah. Hogwarts legacy and EA football as game of the year is very weird aswell.
Guess there is some brigading in some corners of the internet going on. Or most of the people just have a one dimensional taste in games.

I was very confused, when it was nominated in the steam awards for most innovative game. Made me a bit sad when people do not know what great games are out there that only cost 1/5 of a AAA borefest.
Yeah i just bought divinity 2 for 20 bucks and i do not find the time to play that either. Gonna get it in a sale a few years down the line when i have more free time and a tinier backlog.
Very hard choice to make. The buffy is cute but the Snowowl is so much more majestic. Gotta go with the latter.
There are sadly more companies with rapists in them than those two. It got swept under the rug faster.
Still one of the best MMO games on the market. Can recommend everyone to check it out.
They should be enraged about the rape apologists who are in charge of the company. But consumers forget fast when the shiny new thing is out.

Never had the intention to date, but still met my wife there.
It started long before. I remember boycotting d3 when the auction house came out and i stopped wow a decade ago because you are paying monthly for a savegame plus microtransactions.
I can buy way better indie games for that price or keep playing guild wars 2 which has no sub.

How is ng+ innovative? Have you played many other games this year? Dave the diver, boneraiser Minions or Astrea have shown me more innovation in gameplay than any AAA game in years.
