my gosh, they've read to many "alpha male 101" books. Trump can't handle Musk's hand on top (because that's dominant for these people) so he needs to put another one on top. Oh your such grown-ups, playing all nice together. Good job, now finish your sprouts.

Yeah, that's the one you need to worry about Google. Good job.

Thanks, that's good to know. Going to update it right away, hopefully this will solve my problem.

That looks nice. Added it to my list to look at. Thanks.

You've got a good point with Home Assistant. I have automations setup so that I barely have to do anything manually. So I almoat forget that Home Assistant runs quite a lot in my home. And especially in the beginning it was nice to setup but not really needed. Know it is needed.

That sounded like a great morning!

I didn't know if this was something I was missing, but man this could be my new number 1. The import function is really great. I've already added a lot of recipes. Thanks!

I've installed it as well but the blackout/redact feature didn't work as expected..So not sure if it will be that useful for me. But since I ditched Adobe, I now at least have a PDF editor.

You've just made me waste the next 2 days, because this sounds great! Only thing I'm a bit hesitant about is trusting all bridge makers. I'm a bit more aware that I use a lot of FOSS where it could be easy for the dev's to just go rogue. But that's still better than giving it away to some closed source company.

Looks really great. I'm depending on Synology for CalDav and WebDav but if I can move away from that to make switching NAS in the future easier, that would be great.

I think everybody on here is constantly keeping an eye out for what to host next. Sometimes you spinup something which chugs along nicely but sometimes you find out you've been missing out.

For me it's not very refreshing or new: Paperless-ngx. Never thought I would add all my administration to it. But it's great. I probably can't find the thing I need, but I should have a record of every mail or letter I've gotten. Close second is Wanderer. But I would like to have a little bit more features like adding recorded routes to view speed and compare with previous walks. But that's not what it is intended for.

What is that service for you?

Uhm, not quite sure what you mean? My remark about Iran was to think out loud why Netanyahu would say Hamas is sabotizing the cease-fire. He doesn't want to look weak or like he lost. Iran says Israel lost, that is not acceptable for Netanyahu and his PR.

Saying this could be part of the plot, or old Benji didn't think Hamas would agree to a ceasefire and now he's fucked. Also Iran saying Israel lost probably didn't help.

I'm not sure this is even a Pi-Hole problem, but since it's most apparent there I hoped someone here can point me in a direction to solve the problem.

Every hour from 10 too till about 15 minutes past Pi-Hole has a lot of N/A replies for DNS lookups. At that moment internet slows down, pages load for 10 or 15 seconds or sometimes not at all. When running dig on the host of Pi-Hole it shows that it can't connect to my router. Pi-Hole is hosted as a container on a Intel NUC with Proxmox. The router is a unifi security gateway. As DNS resolvers I use Quad9 and dns0.eu. Pinging IP addresses keep working during this period. Resolving/visiting local domainnames (like pihole or my NAS) keep working.

Where can I start to look for a solution? It almost feels like a cronjob of some sorts, but there is not a lot of traffic going through the network at these times. Also the proxmox host does nothing at that moment.

I recently acuired a secondhand NUC8I5BEH and installed proxmox on it. But it randomly is unreachable from my LAN. There are no errors in syslog. When I connect a monitor there is no signal. So the NUC seems crashed. The fan is spinning and the LAN lights are on. It's not viewable on my unifi controller and it's not pingable. Where can I start looking for the problem?

I know this is quite personal, but does anybody know of a good sideloading backpack? I have a wandrd prvke 31l, and while I like all the organizing I'm unsure of the looks and it's quite heavy. I have a fjallraven Ulvo 23l and I really like it but it's maybe a bit too small and it's a pain to dig up my camera cube/sling underneath from my coat, drinks and food. The Peak Design Everyday pack is expensive and doesn't look like it works well with the dividers and such.

So I thought maybe there's a hiking or daypack with side loading option. Those are usually less expensive, have good build quality and with a camera cube can function fine as a gear bag. Is there such a backpack?

Looking through the writefreely.org instances on their website, a lot of the links are dead or closed for registration. The one that is open and working is promoting a paid version. Is hosting a writefreely instance heavy on resources, attracting the wrong people or just not "cool" enough?

Is this the time to drop firefox?

Is it possible to start out at, let's say, 20 years and be sharp as a knife. Never forgetting things, never dropping things, always have an answer ready and can do multiple things at once. And then around 30 you suddenly drop stuff you have in your hands, you forget if you locked the door, your contactlenses have gone missing from the storagecontainer, people need to stop talking while you drive?

I have been in the pool (build-in pool at ground level) the last few days and I noticed that there are a lot of dead flying insects in there. Or insects that are about to drown. I rarely swim in natural water and when I do, it usually is not that clear to see if it happens there as well. So are threy drowning in natural water as wel? It's not that the sides of the pool are to slippery or steep to get out, they sometimes just land in the water and can't fly back out. Do they drown in natural water? And if not, why do they die in poolwater?
