I mean, there are vaccines like the BCG that actually treats bladder cancer, so technically it could be true. I just want to know what exactly they mean here.

I didn't read the article. Isn't a vaccine meant to protect against, not specifically treat, something.

Ive never heard of pill hangover, maybe the patient is implying withdrawal symptoms. If it's something like a narcotic pill, oxycodone and the like, then there are medications to treat the withdrawal.

There are also benzos, antidepressants, and other types of "pills" that produce a kind of withdrawal and all of them would benefit some kind of medical intervention.

Home remedies have their place, but some withdrawal symptoms can be life threatening. Advise this person to go the hospital to be monitored.

I know it's the leg armor laying against the waist armor but my first thought was: awwuh what a cute little samurai dude!

Honestly, the lottery has been around a lot longer but the idea is the same. Those who know it's a scam don't buy into it, obviously.

That being said, many people still beleive they have the chance and it still brings in a ton of money with a payout to a few and the rest going to the government.

Same bs.

No, not everyone.

Why would memecoins generate any money ever if everyone knew it was bs?

25 mins studying, 5 min break.

Repeat 4 times and on the 4th time it's a 35 min break.

Basically forces your brain to cool off and relax between studying time. You retain better over time but it depends on what you're studying.

I'm sorry, is this the place to ask? Are they just called "communities"? Not sub...lemmys?

I wanted to curate something like old-Reddit for my front-page but I'm having trouble finding any sidebar lists of related communities. Do I just have to search and add each one individually if they're here? Does it matter if it's 'local' or 'all'?

I'm using Connect for the moment. Thanks in advance!

EDIT - you guys are awesome!
