Actually, it would be better for Republicans to try to convince the population their solutions are better instead of the BS we have now. It might help the Republican Party become somewhat normal again and then get more votes. I would love it if we could have real debates on real issues, instead of the BS we have now. I might even be a tad conservative in some areas... But right now, the choice is between Dems or Crazy Town. I think a popular vote would change politics and strategy so that you couldn't have a Trump anymore.

Coffee shop? More like a dessert-in-a-cup emporium! Finding normal coffee on the menu these days is like a treasure hunt. ha.

I don't know where all this "I don't like Harris" stuff comes from. Considering the presidents we've had lately, hahaha... if she won, it would be amazing. I'm sure there are better people in the world, but they don't even get close to the White House. We have to be realistic. She's a great pick considering current political realities.

I believe it's beneficial that he didn't drop out six months ago, as it forces the Trump campaign to re-strategize at the last moment of the race. There are fewer negative attacks on Harris, while Joe has been attacked for four years. It probably stresses out the Trump campaign a little.

It's not like there's another choice at this time. She's there and likely has the donor money. The campaign team is assembled and working. It's really the only option at this point. It's either Joe or Harris. I admire you for recognizing that this is a win, and we need to take it and move forward.

They were losing donors. Unfortunately, without money, forget it.

Another thought is that Joe has to campaign while still being president, whereas Harris can focus almost all her energy on campaigning. I believe this alone will make a big difference.

Not only that, Republicans often begin undermining their opponent's reputation from day one, spending nearly four years focused on convincing the public that Biden is ineffective. Now, all that effort is erased at the most crucial time of the election. They no longer have years to shape public perception. This sets the stage for a fairer fight, and Harris is a more compelling speaker than Biden. I believe It was a good play.

Yes, Harris is articulate and assertive. She is clearly a better choice. The public wants someone sharp and focused. While I believe Biden is a capable president, public image affects votes whether we like it or not. Currently, his image has many Democrats feeling discouraged, though they would likely still vote for him. However, I think Harris can change that once she starts campaigning.

He has lifetime Secret Service protection. Would they sit in the cell with him? Any time served would need to be in a secure, comfortable location. It would be a half-assed prison at best.
