Oh it's real. There was a big fundraiser at my sons school, with each kid bringing about a dozen eggs.

This was after a documentary on tv which moved a lot of people called "un oeuf is not enough" showing american families not able to afford eggs

I had to too recently because my battery died, so I replaced it with a new battery. Not the cheapest nor the most expensive, an average priced battery.
I'm relatively content with it.

I don't know. more than 60% of Internet traffic comes from mobile devices, and it keeps increasing

people spend a third of their lives on those things. And while cumbersome, a big screen simply is better for media consumption

only way I see smaller phones make a comeback is if we change our habits or if a new technology comes along

Lemmy was created by a tankie, many of whose opinions I abhor.

As long as it's FOSS and doesn't inherently promote their beliefs, I will use the software.

I agree it's not great and I'd prefer if it weren't made by imbeciles

Linux only (I think), only between desktop clients, and it requires a server.

In the short time I've tested it, everything worked.
