I just can't get into using Peertube. I love the idea, but in my experience, it just doesn't work the way it should. Slow, low video quality, hard to get the federation working properly, and most importantly, a general lack of content creators I care to follow.

I stick with Odysee for this, and several other reasons.

Mastodon and Pixelfed. Mastodon is my main (Retro Gaiden) but I'm experimenting with the Fediverse to see what works for me and what doesn't.

Sorry for the delay, thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out!

I understand restricting the macOS version because it costs money but doing this for Windows is just a scumbag tactic, to be sure.

Does anyone know of any good DOS games that fit the Easter, spring, colorful aspects of the holiday?

I'm in the mood to play something festive later and I've been on a retro PC kick lately, so I'm just curious if anyone has any suggestions for me to try!

Oh, the irony of that last statement contrasted with the rest of your post.

All these replies are extremely indicative of just how utterly ridiculous the Fediverse can be. It almost makes me want to leave again but no: this network needs opposing opinions from its "acceptable" narrative. It's bad enough that the Fediverse is already an echo chamber as it is.

I never had the chance to play this one, but I did really love the more modern Hot Pursuit! Might have to look into how to find this one.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I know it can be worse. I just think it could also be better.

I love Steam but I've always felt like the refund policy was a bit of a joke. I feel like the time limit should be flexible, being a bit longer for games that have long tutorials or a bunch of intro cutscenes.

As long as it still feels like TES and as long as it's not even as hard as Elden Ring (which, as I hear, is supposedly the "easiest" FromSoft game but is still too challenging), I'm open to trying it. In general, I wish they'd just give us Skyrim's combat with some tweaks; it's the best combat in the series, in my opinion.
