The hip generation are now a large set of today's Ivy League Boomer MAGAts. It's just a fad for followers, and most will follow the corporate shtick after graduation. Saw this with family and friends of family, numerous instances from the era.
The GOP is representing pretty much nothing but corporate interests, and citizen rights repression. A recipe that will take decades to repair, if ever.
