I don’t have an app to browse Reddit with ever since Apollo got shut down, and haven’t ever logged in through the browser, so I haven’t been there for a while.

NSFW content can’t be monetised and advertisers are having second thoughts about their willingness to advertise there (or so the lowering number of clicks on the advertisement page leads one to believe), so I guess there can be bad engagement.
A non-generic name would probably help with search results though, seeing as you have to type Lemmy communities for Google to understand that’s the kind of results you want.
