It’s not even surprising, is it? Good ol Marx couldn’t foresee AI but could see the thorough proletarianization of us all. This is just the latest development.

The way I think about this is that you need to ask whether you do this consistently. The app I use, IIRC says that it is accurate with 30% margin for error. Whether you consistently cook shrimp or other things in butter and count it, or don't count it, or count part of it, is less important than being consistent.
At least with the app I use, if you screw up your inputs, the app will correct against the user's error and make the overall calorie count lower to accomodate.
Interesting. But if everyone sells their car soon as the economy brings the pain then they won’t be able to sell their cars right?
