Today I had a Bible verse on my Masto timeline. And I know I shouldn't care, but it made me so angry. Like the verse itself was nice and all, no doubt. But holy fuck. You can find so much bullshit in that book. Why don't you quote that? You can't just cherry pick the quotes you like best.

I can't also go around and just quote random passages from Mein Kampf because they sound nice without the context.

I hate that so much. I always need to refrain from dropping Leviticus 21:18-21 or Timothy 2:12 or some other bullshit in the replies.

Sorry for the rant. Just needed to let it out somewhere.

I understand that Russia is the aggressor and stuff. However, posting combat footage of people dying while playing funky music is disrespectful and disgusting. No matter how "bad" you think that person is.

So gern ich auf dem Lande lebe,
sitz ich doch gern in einem Büro;
Mit dem Auto ein Katzensprung.
Ach was bin ich über diese Firma froh!

Ich starre auf den Bildschirm,
von dem ich auch Zuhause einen hätte.
Nach Homeoffice fragen?
Da fehle mir die kollegiale Zigarette. 

Dennoch bin ich gern zuhaus,
mein Haus im Grünen geb ich nicht auf.
Umziehen käme für mich nicht in Frage:
Wo bekommt man denn noch so eine schöne Garage?

Mein Fahrrad hängt dort an der Decke.
Aber 15 km - einfache Strecke? 
Immerhin hat es einen Motor,
richtig sicher komm ich mir nicht vor.

Überall die großen Wägen,
hier muss schließlich jeder Bäume sägen. 
Zugmaschinen und Symbole:
Das Leben ist teuer außerhalb der Metropole.

Nein lieber nicht:
Ich schwitze so schnell,
Der Regen zu nass, die Sonne zu hell.

Es gäbe eine Lösung,
wäre der Bus nur nicht so unbequem.
Keine 15 Minuten Taktung,
diese Leute hab ich noch nie gesehen!

Immerhin kenne ich meine Kollegen,
die wohnen ja nur knapp daneben.
Bei Fahrgemeinschaften bin ich aber sensibel.
Einkaufen nach der Arbeit,
ich bin gern flexibel.

Außerdem kennst du die nicht,
Der beste Fahrer im Büro,
bin ganz alleine ich! 

Ich will nicht sterben,
fürs laufen zu weit,
einen Zug gibts halt nicht,
es tut mir ja leid.

Keine Lösung in Sicht,
doch eins ist bewiesen:
Auf dem Land ist's so schön,
wäre man doch nur nicht aufs Auto angewiesen.
