It probably doesn't though. Obviously it's closed source making it harder to tell what's actually happening, but there's nothing stopping security analysts from looking at network usage and such. I would imagine that Google doesn't install a keylogger on every Android phone, not out of the goodness of their hearts, but because they don't want the bad publicity and lawsuits when it would inevitably be discovered.

It looks like you may have been affected, I've reported this account to the Federal Bureau of Memory for immediate quarantine.

New York really needs to get their shit together. They have the most anomalous memory zones of anywhere in the country. I don't even get the logic of running the metro in a deja vu area. If this continues, they risk a mass memory incident where the entire city gets forgotten. Hell, I don't even remember the name of my cousin who lives there.

Android really needs a sandbox feature for apps you don't trust (or just any by Meta)

Going to Lemmy to complain about "left-wing extremists" is kind of funny especially since the instance's only real political stance is promoting gay/trans rights.

This appears to be a toot (Mastodon) not a tweet

Also it is really funny to put a Lemmy advertisement on Reddit's thing

Sad to see Spronkus not on r/Place this time, it would be cool if we could get a Lemmy/KBin Place working by April.

Ok, but I want to think about that though.

I love Simon Tatham's puzzles

I've also disabled my ad blocker and logging in in desktop mode neither of which worked.

NFT Avatars (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

196 on Reddit banned all users with NFT avatars, but they can't do that on Lemmy because there are no NFT avatars. I think Lemmy should add NFT avatars so communities can ban all users that have them.

196 is by far the largest local community here, make sure to check out the other ones to help support the blahaj zone. Also, blahaj.zone hosts a Calckey instance which is like a Twitter alternative that can communicate with Mastodon. The Calckey seems to be under stress due to Twitter being down and a flood of new users, so be patient I guess.

There are no good posts on the internet; delete them all.

literally 1984

We surpassed https://raddle.me/f/196 in terms of subscribers making us, as far as I know, the biggest, currently active 196 by number of subscribers (not counting 19684).

1k Rule (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

we are the biggest of the Lemmy 196s I think

When browsing through my feed, especially if I have "all" selected, posts that are usually a few minutes old start appearing at the top of my feed after everything has loaded. This makes things difficult to read as it scrolls down the page. Does anyone else have this problem? I don't know if this is a Lemmy issue or a blahaj.zone issue.
