Assuming you work from home the real answer is that you just get up every few minutes and move. It doesn't matter what. Some squats, pullups, pushups. Even a few hundred steps works wonders.

The key is to make the barrier to entry as low as possible. Then you actually do it more often.

Besides that, find a sport you think would be fun. Just try a bunch of trial lessons or join some people you know.

I sort of agree, because no one should be shamed. The issue I have with the statement is that current "trad wife" trends are at best exclusive and at their worst completely toxic. I definitely don't want to see that either.

Let's just leave it at: let every woman choose themselves and make it as easy as possible for those who do want to do paid work.

Thanks for sharing.

I checked for Netherlands and it seems to be easily over 2k a month for fulltime care (172-240 hours).

The thing I wasn't aware of is the subsidies low income parents receive. Up to 96%. Seems to be a bit lower in practice, but still almost all is covered.

That doesn't account for high cost areas, and is dependent on income. But the conclusion seems to be that it's far cheaper than I mentioned for the end consumer.

Well to be fair, that's what it costs in many European countries, too.

That's why many women don't work. The cost is basically as high as a low paying or part time job.

That's why everyone needs free daycare. That will generate a higher GDP for everyone.

Not that I disagree, but good ones DO have a different system in place. They take in air, to make the drops bigger and it feels like there's more water being spread out. Doesn't help with the pressure complaint, but it does really help IMO!

And that does save you money because less energy is used to heat up water.

Some card or board games. Especially relatively easy ones to help with the inevitable "what were we doing?" situation.

Soms to ask each other fun and thought provoking, even philosophical questions.

Or fuck that and just put on a compilation of funny videos and before you know it's Monday again.

That's a big "if" though...

You'd be surprised, but most clicks in the SERP go towards ads. Shopping being nr 1 and then (paid) search ads.

You'd cringe about the things people search and then click ads (even if matching was a mistake and not relevant at all).

No, nothing significantly changed in regards to bidding. It's still automated CPC in whatever form you choose.

Thanks cor the clarification. Didn't realize you meant bug spray. Never had to use that fortunately but it doesn't sound like fun at all, living with an infestation.

Also, TIL about the 6-8 hours. That's a long time actually.
