Both Are extremly easy when it comes to chords. Jokes are you only need three chords to play all metal songs ever written.

There is no need to filter the water. Usually there is 0 chlorine in water. Sometimes 0.1mg/l is added (at max) if the system is infected with something, but this comes with massive warnings. Filtering water is a great scam. The water in our pipes is actually better than bottled water most of the times.

If you haven‘t, read „the long earth“ from terry pratchett. Absolutely brilliant.

That actually is illegal.

What surprisingly is legal: dating a 14yo.

Weird country.

I‘d actally choose the monarch 500yrs ago.

Not because it is a better life. Probably I‘d de better off as the average person I am now. But it is absolutely exiting to get to explore and get to know the world. Everything is in a flow, the world is both changing and stable at the same time.

And i wouldn‘t see our world and climate die, i would see it blossom, awaken.

Personally i found a very old sailor technique to produce the coffee the best for me - letting a coarse grind sit in cold water for about 10-12 hrs and double filter it afterwards. Sweetened with maple syrup and cream.

This really makes my day. A bit of joy in the morning.

Me? Oh gosh, i am atheist by heart ans follow my own set of morals. For me the concept of a religious leader alone is wrong.

I did have the pleasure to talk to him one time and he seemed more progressive than others before him. Some of his beliefes and actions I would consider wrong, but he stood for his beliefes, for friendship and for the poor and i respect that.

The thing with popes who disagree with the administration is, they die quite easily.

The pope was not against the principles of the church. He was quite revolutionary, though. He challenged the „priests cannot marry“ principle. He revoked church protection in case of sexual accusations. For church this is like rocking the system.

The admin still hid felons, the pope weakened the protection significantly, though.

I think he did the best he could. He was a kind man who actually tried to solve a lot of the injustice of the church. Far away from being an asshole.

No. I‘ve banned everything which has a status light. I am very light sensible, a TV would kill my night sleep entirely. I don‘t watch TV very often either. Once a week is a lot for me.

Happy thanks giving everyone. Do you celebrate and if so, how?

Hey fellow coffee friends. As it is hot season here in Germany I actually enjoy my coffee cold, so I set up a cold brew every two or three days.

Well, when I got into that habit I got the hint to never let the brew touch metal as it alters the taste to the worse, it gets sour and „off“.

Now my question is, is this a myth? I see cold brew makers which would be way more convenient than my measurement cup/cotton filter method, but all of them have some kind of metal filter, so I am very reluctant to buy one of those. Has anyone insights and our experience on this topic?

Has anyone experience in those, yet? I think it will be available in Germany soon, so if anyone can tell me the difference they experienced I’d be grateful.
