back when it was coming out biopunk and cyberpunk were a lot more genre fluid
there's a more recent and more accurate comp from germany who had a bad moustache inspired by charlie chaplan's moustache. he, individually, is why no one wears their facial hair like that anymore
it's telling that the starburies were worse shoes than jordans, but they weren't $150 worse. if their workers had been paid, they probably still would have cost more, but they engaged in the exact same sweat shop labor as nike and adidas and offered a product for nearly 1/10th the price
this has always been the dirty trick of fascism. you won't get a cushy job for running off your marginalized neighbor or isolating yourself from the countries you've long exploited. you will instead become the new marginalized class, and your community will become the exploited colony of the empire.
cruelty is the point
how many of these crimes is 47 himself personally guilty of?
how many cease fires has he kept firing though now?
fraudulant credit card use is no reason someone should be executed
yup. and both of them would explore how deeply terrifying it was being forward scouts through their art, and particularly how being an artist made them valuable as scouts
Dr Doom is a Jack Kirby creation and I've been living with the realization that as a forward scout for the US Army in Nazi Germany, many of his villains are reflections of what he witnessed the Nazis to be. Whatever Dr Doom is, I'm fully ready to understand 47 to be as well
agreed. i didn't downvote the thread starter because this is how our media always writes about prison deaths, but that's on purpose. they shape the way we talk about these things in order to shape how we think about it. i think the thread starter is legitimately trying to disseminate exactly what happened, but the hegemonic language of the elite has infiltrated how they discuss these things through no specific fault of their own. i left a reply to the thread starter that was meant to directly critique the institutions and systems that lead to this without calling the thread starter themself the problem.
