I always bring up resources management. They probably won't go full hog in an armed uprising on US soil. Every bridge bombed is a bridge needed to rebuild. A carpet bombing of Texas will hit non-combatant citizens. A preemptive point against this would be the first civil war. Sherman's march ( the goat ) was different because the largest militaries decided to be neutral during the conflict. A crippling of an armed uprising will also cripple defense against China or Russia if they get froggy. Or if the damages could be justified. Like say a critical bridge was one of the MANY bridges that are on the verge of collapsing. Bomb it now and make Texas pay for it call it Biden's bridge etc. Or a track of land being used by rebels is prime railroad land/oil/etc.

This brings up one of the questions I have in regards to capitalism criticism. I understand that child labor is bad I would prefer labor be done safely and with respect. In a capitalist society undereducated and vulnerable people get the short end and often do these jobs. In a communist system dangerous and dirty work still needs to be done. How would labor be allotted that would cause a more egalitarian outcome. Personal example of my family were migrant farm workers. Uncle fucking hated doing field work he saved capital, went to community college, got a good paying job, is now paying my cousins way through cal poly. If the system is set up so that work is done by those who can then realistically he could still be a field hand and my cousin would probably follow him. How does a non capitalist system deter formation and unintentional enforcement of caste systems.

I am so sorry but I do not understand your comment. If you want an example of being forced to change. Hershey initially wanted the city to be a dry City, that didn't last long.

I forgot the source but there was a YouTuber that did a deep dive. It boiled down to Hershey being forced to pivot his goals. If I remember correctly he started with strict moral and civil planning and then it got progressively ness strict growing into an actual city.

Granted but it is held in high regard by many popes, including the current.

Not exclusive to Mormons. Devine comedy dictates different levels of heaven. Enoch also states levels of heaven.

Interesting note 20th century millionaires tried to tackle societal ills by making various utopia like projects. Hershey tried to make I think 3 cities (USA, Brazil, maybe Cuba) were he tried to control the populace. They all failed except maybe, USA the city is a tourist trap and major hospital. I think Spain had another with a long City, and a more modern example is Dubai with ..... Basically all of Dubai. Or California currently has a project being run by several tech people.

I would argue against the annexation on central and south American and this would be purely a pedantic note.they want a hegemonic influence but not the responsibility of dominion over latin america. For instance They had backed an early coupe against mx that dethroned French backed mx emperor and conquered mx not too long after. They did not annex mexico. They backed a coupe to separate panama from its previous governing body, wrote extremely factorable terms for the canal, did not annex panama. Backed revolt against Spain in Puerto Rico and Cuba and didn't annex either. Backed militants in Nicaragua and didn't annex. Basically they want the resources but not want to build and maintain the roads, schools, police. Which is in my opinion is different than a complete land grab.
