Well since I don't want to delete my Instagram account and apparently I can't only delete Threads, my new account will just stay there forever

My friend took this picture. If I knew they'd be sold out by now.

I'm from the US and people are using SMS less and less I feel like (though again, I'm biased because Android). Even most of my networking for work is done on Instagram, which to me is incredibly bizarre.

When the whole Reddit fiasco started happening, I saw a lot of people wiping and deleting their Reddit accounts and moving elsewhere, like here on Lemmy.

Now that it's starting to die down a little bit, does anyone regret doing that? Or are you glad that you took that step?

I asked if people chose iPhone for the blue bubbles elsewhere a couple days ago, and while there was some good discourse on that post, the blue bubbles definitely also came up as a reason.

In my experience, when people find out my texts are green, they oftentimes would rather switch to a different platform altogether like Instagram or just not text at all.

Is this actually a deal-breaker in friendships out there?

Like a lot of others, I've been looking at Reddit alternatives recently which is what landed me here at Lemmy.

How do you think Lemmy compares to Reddit? But also, for people who have tried other Reddit alternatives than Lemmy, how do they compare? What has been the pros and cons of each community for you?

I am younger than that demographic and not the most techy person, so maybe not exclusively. But yes, in my experience with Lemmy and Mastodon that is the trend.

So I replaced my car with a train, but now it doesn't fit in my garage. Am I doing this wrong?

Luckily my dog doesn't need to drink, actually. He's so quiet and still all the time, every day!

You guys don't drink your own piss?

RPAN or something like that. I don't know why I would go to Reddit for livestreams. I certainly wouldn't come to Lemmy for it, either.

I just use 123password for all of my passwords, so I don't need one.

My guess is someone who really, really, really wants you to see the advertisements. With a little bit of content on the side.

Finally tried the official Reddit app. It's as bad as they say.

At work we somehow landed on the topic of how many holes a human has, which then evolved into a heated discussion on the classic question of how many holes does a straw have.

I think it's two, but some people are convinced that it's one, which I just don't understand. What are your thoughts?

Baths are weird anyway.
