Judging by the collective actions of these people, I don't think they will.

Oh how times have changed. When we were younger I'd be the one to help my little brother in a pinch. As my gaming tastes wanted slower and more methodical games, it's my little bro to the rescue when I attempt to play his games and need help with defeating bosses.

Imma go ahead and take note of your suggestions. Thank you fellow Lemming!

I wonder what the implications are now that a company and companies in general are gonna be surpassing the trillion mark. Is it because of the endless money printing or are we headed into a reality where as everything gets more expensive we won't own anything anymore.

Am I going crazy?

I honestly don't know. It baffles me. Maybe it's convenient but their decisions completely invalidates the blackout and just confirms spez's words that this will all blow over.

You can also try out wefwef.app I'm using it right now and it feels just like Apollo

Tell me about it. Just goes to show that certain people aren't willing to compromise on what they perceive as their home.

Hopefully, the momentum of people transferring to lemmy stays. I've had conversations with other Redditors who recognized the importance of third party apps but went ahead and downloaded the official app anyway.

I used Apollo for about 3 years and I've stuck with it for iOS mostly for its clean UI design that mimics Apple's design cues. It's also pretty smooth to scroll through with the gestures making navigation easy. For reference, I've only tried Apollo on iOS and didn't bother with the official app before.

Thanks for this! I'm slowly understanding how everything works now.

Damn, the apathy is strong but I do get it. After all, Reddit was mostly a place for me to deflate and relax or just read things during downtime.

I hope the struggle continues until Reddit feels the pain to their bottom line.
