As a celiac I'd very much hope for this kinda agriculture support. Good start, but this list is mostly gluten grains lol. Oh well, I don't expect to be catered to.

Red Mills is USA :( They make so many alternative flours.

There's a guy on Youtube who crossed the entire length of Africa on foot. Got kidnapped twice IIRC.

Russ Cook.

The Edmonton subreddit figured it was that seat or EDM Centre, which coincidentally was another disgraced MP seat held by Randy Boissonneault who just announced he won't run again. They think Mayor Sohi will run for southeast due to demographics and family connections in that area.

Your dad’s willingness to engage with alternative sources shows he values truth over tribal politics, even if reluctantly. That’s actually quite rare these days and worth appreciating.

For sure I appreciate this more than it seems. I focused on the negatives to try and empathize with anyone reading with more difficult relationships. I can't be fully myself around mine due to their religion that I rejected long ago for example.

Shit. Guess they had a point.

Now's also the time to admonish your friends and family for consuming enemy state media about their own country. Uncomfortable family talks.

I've already had one with my dad. He would've supported P.P and was asking my opinion.

Retired boomer with no imagination so he took up a part time job as a driver in a plumbing shop. His conservative coworkers poison his aging grey matter, and I have to deprogram him now and then. Thankfully my dad's not a reactive dick and will read sources I provide him that he's not read and change his mind. Begrudgingly. That old boy conservative mindset is ingrained in him deep. He always has a look on his face like he's betraying his community voting against cons. I don't get it, but he's not as bad as he could be.

My point is, people have to fucking try with family if there's a chance they can be reasoned with. Don't be cowards/doormats.

The usual retort I heard is because someone in your extended family probably did take a DNA test at some point they "practically already have yours." At least that's what redditors parroted all the time.

I don't know if it is true, because I thought being a couple steps removed from your parents already renders most hereditary DNA unrelated. But I'm just a layman.

Regardless, it still wouldn't have been my choice to deliberately self own like that. Just turns me into an unwilling victim instead, much better /s.

I'm curious too if it's distro specific. I'll try logging in thru TTY once home. If there's no solution I'll have to try Debian or Arch. Unfortunate, I found Fedora to be the best middle ground. KDE matters more to me I guess.

It's kinda like a country as a fediverse lmao /jk

Here's a good article:

It's hard to search for this problem and find any relevant results. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Issue:

Computer behaves normally until I turn my TV off. The computer is hooked to an Audio/Video Receiver via HDMI. I use a Geforce 4070ti, RPM Fusion drivers following the wiki guide.

When I turn the TV off nothing happens for a few seconds until the receiver detects that the TV is off. Then I hear the KDE login/logout jingle repeatedly with their SFX overlapping/garbled. I hear this because I'm using Digital Optical output for audio from the PC, and the receiver is left on.

Next when I go to turn the TV back on, I get no signal, but the computer isn't crashed or anything, just no video signal.

  • This is on a fresh install of Fedora 41 KDE Spin, fully updated.

  • I've tried disabling sleep, disabling the lock screen, disabling screen dimming, blanking, all their timers, set power profile to performance. None of this made any difference.
