If it’s all my system should I really care about chown and chmod? Is the point that automatic processes with user names like www-data have to make edits, and need permission to do so, and that’s it?

I remember the devs saying they took on way too much technical debt and could barely release new content for the original without breaking everything.

I’m glad they’re pulling a Slay the Spire 2 as I always thought EtD was underrated, though I hope the switch to 3D isn’t a gimmick that makes additional content too expensive to produce.
