Furries and animal-fuckers are different groups. And if you're lumping them together, you're bound to get criticized for it.

FYI: furries are people with an interest/love for anthropomorphic animals.

Some/most furries are attracted to anthropomorphic animals.

Anthropomorphic animals are fictional beings who can be described as animals with human intelligence and often human posture.

The reason why zoophilia is problematic is that no real animal can consent (except humans), so having sex with then is always rape. The human intelligence part, combined with the fact that anthropomorphic animals can communicate takes that problem away.

Furries probably get so worked up because they already receive a lot of hate which causes them to see hate when there is none.
